? For two days, 13 ? 14 August 2010, NCBL TIP OFF Basketball Tournament was held as one of the most attractive events at UPH Festival 17. National Basketball Team (ABFI PERBANAS), Britama Satria Muda and BCI Edge from United States will play together at UPH Basketball Court. In the first game at 2-4 pm, Britama competed with PERBANAS and won with a score of 75-44. PERBANAS had done their best in defense and offense although their shoots were not accurate. In the second game, UPH and BCI Edge were competing in only 3 quarters length. BCI-Edge won with a score of 51-15 and followed with several of slam dunk attractions, a shoot match, jump and free shoot competitions. Both teams looked closed although when the game began they all played seriously. One of the funniest parts in the tournament was when Mr. Metcalfe gave super sized shirts to the BCI-Edge players for them to wear so the audience can sign on it. For a while they were asked to play in those outrageous shirts that brought laugh from the audience. This year?s UPH Festival invited international basketball team to encourage national basketball teams to increase their game quality. (oas) UPH Media Relations |
