Telkomsel together with Research in Motion (RIM) launched the first mobile campus application in Indonesia for Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) on Friday, 5 August 2011. The event was held at UPH Karawaci during the UPH Festival 18. Gideon Edie Purnomo, VP Channel Management Telkomsel said, ?We hope this mobile campus application can be a complete solution for UPH students to access information and conduct academic activities through BlackBerry smartphones. UPH Students now can look at the academic calendar, scholarship information, etc, even to class registration and access personal academic data in mobile.?
