Accounting is not only about journals, ledgers, and financial matters. Accounting will answer the various problems that exist in society. It inspires UPH Accounting students to organize Accounting Exhibition for the second time. This year, Action was held on Monday, October 10 – Friday, October 14 2011 at UPH. Queeny, the chairman of Action 2011, said, “I hope Action could enrich the students? insights. I want the students to know that accounting is not only about theory, but it also can be more useful for our daily life.” Queeny also hoped that more students majoring in accounting can master things about business, stocks, and taxation after attending various seminars held in this Action. Various events held included business plan competitions, seminars, stock simulation, and training. In the “How To Develop a Successful Business” seminar on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 hosted by Indra Dhanurendra Kirana,Director at KuKiraKira Digital Media Studio, Clint Tetelepta, UPH lecturer, and Johnny Andrean, the founder Johnny Andrean Salon and J.co also BreadTalk brand holders in Indonesia, shared experiences and tips for students on how to become successful entrepreneurs.(bs) UPH Media Relations |
