Smart & Furious

UPH Student Executive Body presented Smart and Furious competition. This event was held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at UPH building D 502. Smart and Furious was one of programs of Department Pengembangan Wawasan dan Penalaran. There were 52 teams participated in this competition, each consisted of 2-3 students from various majors in UPH.

Felincia, the Head of Smart and Furious, said “General knowledge is also important to be developed. I hope the students can be aware of what?s happening around them and become broad-minded people.” The topic of this competition is about general news and political issues.

There were five rounds in this competition. On the first half of this competition, the participants were asked to guess whether the statements were correct or wrong. The participants were then narrowed down into 32 teams to enter the written test. Five teams were then chosen to move forward to the final round.

The first winners of this Smart and Furious competition are Caroline Gunawan, Valencia, and Gabriella Dhea. For the runner up, the winners are Jonathan Andre, Rivan, and Stephanie. The third winners are Peter Tan, Nicholas Reyner, and Ryxzy. (bs)
