UPH Career Expo 2011

Career Expo is back. This time, the expo was held in D502 and D503 on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. The event featured 30 companies.

Thirty companies joined this year’s Career Expo. The event was held to provide job opportunity especially for UPH fresh graduates.

Career Expo is back. This time, the expo was held in D502 and D503 on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. The event featured 30 companies; such as PT Lippo Karawaci, Tbk, PT Optik Melawai, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, Orang Tua Group, PT Metrocom Global Solusi, PT Indointernet, PT Biggy Cemerlang, PT Smart Tbk (agribisnis), SQ Center Indonesia, PT Lautan Luas Tbk, Astra Credit Company, PT Sushi Tei Indonesia, PT Link Net (First Media), Kompas Gramedia Majalah, Hotel Santika BSD, Citibank, English First, Wicaksana Overseas International Group, PT Optik Tunggal Sempurna, PT ORIX Indonesia Finance, PT Computrade Technology International, PT Home Center Indonesia, PT Java Prima Abadi (Kopi Luwak), Andreti Internasional (Malinda Furniture Gallery), PT Panin Bank Tbk, PT Panarub Industry (Adidas footware), Bank Ekonomi (member of HSBC), PT AIA Financial, and many more.

Many UPH fresh graduates came to the event. One of them was Ferina who was an alumnus of Communication Department. ?I have submitted my CV in several booths. I actually want to work in media but unfortunately, the event only features one media company,? Ferina explained.

Various job vacancies were offered in this event. Bank Ekonomi, for instance, offered positions in Relationship Manager and offered the applicants to join Relationship Management Development Program (RMDP). RMDP is a program created specifically for fresh graduates who aspired to have a banking career. ?This is our first time joining UPH Career Expo. It is great to see this number of exhibitors. We have an opportunity for people to sign up. They seem to be interested in joining with us,? mentioned Richard Keert, Bank Ekonomi officer.

In the future, the event will be continually held in order to provide the job opportunity especially for UPH alumni. (dee)
