Career Development and Alumni Center (CDAC) routinely organizes company visit to partners in industry in various areas. The program aims to broaden the students’ knowledge about the world of industry and expose the industry to the students. On September 19, 2012 CDAC together with 25 students from 5th semester or above visited BCA, a partner in banking.
The group was welcomed by the General Manager of Learning and Development Division, HR Department, Director of Halo BCA. Several division visited were HRD, Learning Dept., Halo BCA from priority level, Customer Spport, and one of the BCA office branches.
“The goal of this visit is to introduce banking, job, and the function in BCA, know the demography of BCA to transfer the passion of students, understand the recruitment orocess and the competence profile needed to join BCA,” stated Merlinda from UPH CDAC.
“Our priority companies for this program are the ones that open the job opportunity for all departments and possess the core values that is in line with UPH vision and mission,” she added.
Besides company visit, programs also include management trainee, career briefing, internships, and recruitments. Other companies visited this year were Fortune PR, RCTI, IBM Indonesia, and PT Dewhirst Indonesia. (rh)
