Indonesia International Week 2013 at UPH

With this year theme ?When Local Goes Global?, Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) is one of the chosen university representatives from Indonesia in the IIW 2013.

 Participants are following various events and activities at UPH
 
This year, Indonesia International Week (IIW) held for the thirteenth time but for this time, IIW was presented in a different way, a campus tour. In this campus tour, the participants visited various universities in Indonesia got to know its systems and environments. The event that took place from August 14 to August 28, 2013 visited three different cities in Indonesia: Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Bali. With this year theme ?When Local Goes Global?, Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) is one of the chosen university representatives from Indonesia in the IIW 2013.
 
 
On August 15, 30 committee members of IIW 2013, which are from UPH International Relations students, welcomed the arrival of 24 participants from Japan, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Sweden, Swiss, Spain, Vietnam and China to UPH main campus.
 
The manager of UPH International Affairs, Johana Suprapto, gave remarks and briefly explained the facilities and education in UPH to the participants. The head of the event committee, Febe Eunike Sofia, explained that the first day activities for this event are Campus Tour, lunch, and Coaching Clinic. In the coaching clinic, participants could learn how to do Indonesian traditional dances from Kang Nong Tangerang. (ym)
