UPH Festival once again held the annual Open House for high school students from August 21 to August 24, 2013. High school students from all over Jabodetabek and Bandung flooded one of the events in UPH Festival 20 ? Open House, the Campus Tour. Campus Tour program featured many events for the students such as 7 Reasons to Go to UPH presentation session, department introduction and Miss UPH Scholar event.
According to Jessica Limantauw, one of Open House committee, this year 5000 students from various high school such as BPK Penabur, SMA Bunda Mulia, SMA Tarakanita, Sekolah Dian Harapan, Regina Pacis Bogor and many others joined in the liveliness of UPH Festival 20. ?The flow of Open House event is divided into four days where one day has an average of 1000 to 1700 students participated in the Open House,? added Jessica. Students are divided into groups with 90 liaison officers ready to guide them.

Nando Sastro and Edna, high school students, thought that the Open House is very good and interesting. ?I want to know a lot about many departments especially the Medicine one because I am planning to go there and I also get the general view of college world,? said Nando. Meanwhile according to Edna, who is interested with the Management department, she is very happy with this event because UPH provide the explanation for scholarship opportunities so it encouraged the high school students to continue their study to the university level.

The same opinion are also expressed by two students from SMA Bintang Mulia Bandung, Jose and Calvin. They feel that their visit to UPH is not in vain. According to them, the Open House is very interesting, unique and has various events in it. Moreover, they are very impressed that many programs, aside from Open House, could go together at the same time. From this Open House event, Jose and Calvin said that they now know more about many advantages that UPH has and they hope that this event will always be held and more creative in the future. (ym)
