Duane Litfin?s Message for the Graduates at UPH Commencement Ceremony XXIV: ?God Loves, Provides and Always Be with His People?

The seventh president of Wheaton College, Duane Litfin attended the UPH Commencement Ceremony XXIV at Universitas Pelita Harapan on Saturday, November 2, 2013. In this commencement, Litfin also congratulated the graduates for their achievement and encouraged them in entering a new stage of their life.

In his brief remarks, Litfin took all of the graduates to reflect their journey of studying at UPH; how they had been taught by the lecturers and numerous experiences within it, how the knowledge ? with God?s love as its basis ? have shaped their characters, and how God?s provide them until this moment. Thus, he hoped that the graduates will keep living out their life just like when they studied here at UPH ? a life in Jesus Christ word ? because Jesus Christ knows, loves and provides His people.

Litfin then closed his speech by giving a message for the graduates, ?Remember that The Good Shepherd loves you and you should know it because the Bible tells you so, as it is written on John 10: 1-5.? (ym)
