A Million Ball Movements is a charity program organized by Kick Andy Foundation together with PT Multistrada Arah Sarana. A Million Soccer Balls Movements has one purpose, to help the children?s education as well as their dreams, through their love for soccer. 32 selected children from all over Indonesia participated in this program. They are not only skillful in playing soccer but also have abundant dreams for Indonesia.
Universitas Pelita Harapan supported this program as a partner for the children?s training program. Under renowned Manchester United Soccer School?s coach supervision, Jamie Fitzpatrick and Michael Bennet, the children will train at UPH Soccer Field and stay at the students? dorm together with the UPH students. During these 5 days, from January 21 to January 25, 2014, the children had experienced many memorable things. The followings are some of the children?s testimonial for UPH.

Robert, a junior high student, is from Merauke. Although his love towards soccer is undeniable, he have decided that he want to be a teacher in the future. He sees the profession of a teacher is a noble one. Robert was very happy when he heard that he could join this training program. This program gave him many new soccer skills that, according to him, could not be gained through self-taught training. ?Not to mention that I can also train at a soccer field as good as this. I have never seen a soccer field as good as this,? said Robert.

Juan, a junior high student, comes from Kalimantan. He was very ecstatic to be able to participate in the training because he has a dream that one day he will be a renowned soccer player. Just like Robert, Juan also commented that he gained many new experiences. Moreover, he could meet many new friends that also share the same love toward soccer. Seeing UPH that has many facilities, Juan felt very fortunate that he had the opportunity to enjoy such facilities.

PT Multistrada Arah Sarana Director, also one of A Million Soccer Balls Movements? organizers, explained his reasons for choosing UPH as the venue for this training program. ?UPH is the one of the first university candidates that has the adequate facilities to accommodate the training. Manchester is a renowned soccer club, so of course we could not just randomly pick some soccer fields. On the first day of the training program, the MUSS coaches told me that they are surprised with such modern facilities. Although they already train in many places, but it is a rarity to find facilities that have complete equipment,? said Peter.
