Open House UPH and PKU Dual – Degree International Executive MBA Program

Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) and Peking University (PKU) established a Dual-Degree International Executive MBA Program for executives. UPH also co-operated with American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia (AmCham Indonesia) as a professional organization which guides commercial activities of international companies in Indonesia.

In introducing this program, UPH held an open house on Wednesday, 23rd April, 2014, at 06.30 pm to 08.00 pm in UPH Excutive Education Center, Karet Semanggi, Jakarta. This event was also to make an official symbol of co-operation between AmCham Indonesia and UPH by signing the MOU.

This event began by a welcoming speech from Prof. Grace. S. Ugut as Ex Education Executive Dean in Asian Institute of Management and also as one of the lecturers of Dual-Degree International Executive MBA program. She believes this program can guide executives and entreprenurs with variety of business backgrounds and experiences.This program does not only provide courses and lectures, but also gives knowledge through interaction between members with variety of backgrounds.

In difference to any other regular MBA program, this international program is designed by UPH and PKU to prepare executives with minimum requirement of 5 years work experience and Bachelor Degree. This program is established to shape executives to be capable international leaders.

Question and Answer session

Students will go through study period of 12 months in UPH Executive Education Centre, Jakarta, and study directly in PKU, Beijing, for 10 days. The study process of this program includes solving cases in real life so that they can implement it directly with studies that they have learned. The flexibility of schedules is very suitable for executives so they won?t need to leave their career.   Other benefits are that all the lectures of this program are international academics who are experts in industry busines area, the use of AACSB curriculum standard, and the provided access to expose their graduates in the internasional world.
