Career world is becoming one of the basic needs that every person should have. Once more, UPH held the Career Expo to connect variety of companies and industries with the manpower candidates, started from 10.00-16.00 on 9 May-10 May at Building D 502. This event was made by Alumni Department, and Career and Corporate Relations, which designated not only for UPH alumni but, also to the public. |

More than 40 companies attended this Career Expo 2014, such as PT Bank Central Asia, Tbk, PT Mitra Adiperkasa, PT Astra Sedaya Finance, Berita Satu Media Holdings, PT Sayap Mas Utama (Wings Corps), EF English First Swara Group, to RCTI enlivened the event. Variety of areas were participating to hire employees, like in education field, bank companies, property, media, financial services, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Good), and other areas. Until now, UPH has succeeded to generate to almost 20,000 alumni. Currently they spread in a variety of industries. There were even some alumni that representing their companies in the expo. For example: Kanfido Sindaran, Communication 2009, now he is a Risk Management of PT Astra Sedaya Finance. Not only Kanfido, there were Rafi and Christian from Management 2005 representing Lazada Indonesia. |

Dharamanita, as the coordinator of Career Expo 2014, stated that he was very satisfied with the event. ?This time, the companies category are more various, from manufacturing, management consultant, branding consultant, finance, banking, property, media, IT, education, and even automotive. As we count, there almost 1200 visitors that come to the exhibition. It exceeded our expected targets. ? said Dharamanita.
Supposedly, this event could provide UPH fresh graduates to easy up their network to the career world. Besides that, it could help the public or universities around UPH because they are able to attended the event and utilize this opportunity. For the companies that are having partnership with UPH, this event will be helpful in the recruitment processes, which have good qualities, and also the criteria they needed.
