First Orientation Day of 2014 Batch Students

To create easier process for the 2014 batch students, UPH has provides an enrollment session for them in the first day of their orientation before UPH Festival would be happening. The new students are encourage to come to the session because it would give them general information on how to manage and solve their submission of the academic files, where Andreas K. Djukardi, Director of UPH Academic Administration specifically explained it to them. This event was purposely made for the parents too, so they would be able to help their children in guiding them to enter the campus world.

In the beginning, he simply explained on how important for the students to complete all the data requirements to the administration especially the legal certificate of their high school degrees. With the complete data, the students will be able to proceed their graduation faster later on because they are listed in the data profile. ?UPH would not proceed the bachelor degrees if the students do not give any actual proof that they had graduated from high school. This may seems simple but, it is serious problem because it can hold the students graduation,? said Andreas.

He shared that most of the students sometimes do not have any clues on managing their administration such as data requirements, financial problem, cohort online, and the academic planning for their selves. Therefore, he wanted to make specific session for the student in order not to disturb their academic schedules.

The enrollment session was divided into two parts, where it were happening on 18-19 August 2014 located on Building D 501. The event was continued by re-registration by the administration staffs at the same building. ?This year we received almost 3000 new students that are ready to enter UPH campus. To be effective, we divided half of them to another two shift, so it would not waste any time and avoid confusion on proceeding the data itself,? said one of the staff while serving the new students.

Through this session, the administration staffs expected the students to gain more knowledge and had prepare theirself to enter the campus world. Supposedly, the students would also have initiative to complete all the academic files in order to easen up the administration process smoothly.
