On Campus Recruitment 2014: Nestle Indonesia

On October 24, 2014, Nestle Indonesia in cooperation with the Department of Corporate Relations (Career Center) held an On Campus Recruitment at UPH. This event was attended by 80 participants consisting of final year students and alumni of UPH.

 
 

On October 24, 2014, Nestle Indonesia in cooperation with the Department of Corporate Relations (Career Center) held an On Campus Recruitment at UPH. This event was attended by 80 participants consisting of final year students and alumni of UPH.

 

On this occasion, fresh graduates of UPH join the presentation session by Nestle Indonesia which display the company profile of Nestle and an overview of the career path along with the benefits that will be obtained when joining the company. After that, participants attended an interview session which the results will be submitted to each candidate.

 

Nestle is a company engaged in the nutrition, health and well-being which has been operating in Indonesia since 1971. Nestl? has also produced a variety of high-quality food products. Therefore, there is certainly a great deal of competitive advantage by working at Nestle Indonesia.

Recruitment Team of Nestle explained the Manager Trainee Program

 

This time, Nestle Indonesia offers a Manager Trainee program which will last for two years, “The aim of this program is to seek our potential future leaders. We want to stem the qualified local graduates who have the talents for us to built and developed through the projects in each division at Nestle for two years. The MTs will be sent later to represent Indonesia at the international level and the MTs that have passed from the program will serve in the ranks of the top managers,” explained Davis, Nestle Indonesia?s Recruitment Team.

 

This is a first time for Nestle Indonesia to hold a direct recruitment at UPH. Nestle Indonesia usually holds a direct recruitment in renowned public universities such as Universitas Indonesia. This proves that the alumni of UPH have a good quality.

 

On that occasion, one of UPH?s alumni from Psychology batch 2005, Rachel Panjaitan, was introduced. She has been incorporated in the Manager Trainee program since 2011. Currently, Rachel is serving the Market International Development Program Delegate in Dubai. That achievement does not only make UPH proud, but also provides encouragement UPH for other UPH graduates.

 

Budi Legowo, Vice President for External Coorporation & Business Development, explained that this qualified alumni will also help in developing UPH?s relationships with large industries such as Nestle Indonesia. “A university will be recognized from the alumni. With a qualified alumni, the brand image of UPH will rise. Outsiders will not be able to take part in the learning process inside the college, so instead, they will see and judge the quality of a university by the resulting products, namely the alumni. A university also definitely wants to increase good linkage with industries to ensure the future of its graduates. If many of our alumni are working in a reputed company in Indonesia, then this will ease the effort to improve our linkage with the industry, ” said Budi.  (ca/caca)
