Alumni Golf Event Was Held Again

The UPH Alumni Golf Event took place at Imperial Golf Club, Karawaci on 7^th November 2014. This event was the continuation of an Alumni Golf Event in UPH Festival 21 in last August. After playing Golf, the alumni enjoyed fellowship while eating lunch. On that occasion the alumni gave many ideas for the next  programs. This event also became a reunion program with the goal of increasing alumni participation and imagining new ways to strengthen alumni connections with each other and with the University.

Some of UPH leaders also attended this event, such as Budi Legowo, the Vice President for External Corporate and Business Development; and Nursari Dewi Lugito, Director of UPH Alumni and Corporate Relations. Based on Nursari, Alumni Golf Event will be held regularly and hope in the future the amount of alumni who attend this event will increase. To attract other alumni who like playing golf, UPH Alumni Relations work together with Imperial Golf Club Karawaci to give special price for game with lunch package in the VIP Room. (ca)

?When I invited to Golf Event for the first time, I was really glad. Since in the university, my friends and I really have liked playing Golf. We always played Golf in our leisure time. Even, in university, I had tried to form the Golf Club, but it did not work. Even though we are not professional in playing Golf yet, it is still fun to play golf because we play it together. Actually, there are many alumni who like playing Golf, but maybe they do not have time to attend the event. For the next planning, we want to make golf union like what other university has. So, both alumni and active students can join this event. We also will held golf tournament. Besides that, this even was important for us, the alumni, in establishing our relationship and be the medium for having nostalgia.? Albert, Jurusan Teknologi Pangan 2005
