Zion High School has just graduated its first batch and some of them chose UPH, either UPH Karawaci or Surabaya, as their universities. Putri, Faculty of Law 2014 student, which was an alumni of Zion High School, stated that she is really happy to study at UPH. “Studying in UPH Faculty of Law is very interesting and there are a lot of challenges, especially in memorizing articles. But the lecturers are very helpful so my learning process can progress well. The campus environment and the social environment are also amazing,” said Putri who lived in the MYC dorm. Her acquaintance with UPH began when UPH visited Zion High School last year.

According to Ibu Tuti, the coordinator of this comparative study group, this comparative study aims to know more about great universities, to be used as input for the students who are going to continue their education to college. However, according to her, in directing students to choose universities, she pays more attention to the students? interests first, and from there, directs the students to the recommended major and university.

UPH is one of the recommended university based on reviews on the campus, the lecturers and the curriculum. “We saw that UPH has a lot of good points, such as the qualified lecturers and the students? achievements,” Ibu Tuti said. After conducting a direct visit to UPH, the Zion teachers admitted that they were impressed with the cleanliness of the campus and the complete facilities. According to Phoa Denny Oswaldo, manager of Student Relations, with visits like this, it is expected that teachers can provide more detailed and complete information to the students. So that in the next year, there will be more students from Zion who continue their study at UPH.
