In order to welcome 2014?s Christmas, Universitas Pelita Harapan established Christmas Action 2014. This event was held on December 16, 2014 for internals in Building D 501, UPH, and on December 17, 2014 for externals at Dutasia, Tangerang.
Christmas Action 2014 for internal employees is an activity that is intended to share the love specifically for outsourced employees (security, cleaning service, gardener, waiter FJ) which was held on December 16, 2014, 10:00 a.m. in the building D501- D502. A series of events were held from the best outsourcing employee award, groceries distribution, medical examination, Mini Games, performance from each division, and door prize. To break the ice, the event was started with chants created by the participants saying “UPH Christmas Action. Starting from small things, from myself and from now “.
Feteriadi, Senior Director of HRD, got the opportunity to open the event by delivering a speech. “We represent UPH to thank all of you, for taking care of this campus so well that we can work comfortably, for keeping the facilities clean and the environment comfortable. We would also like to thank the committees who successfully organized this event well and creatively considering that free medical examination is also provided. I hope we can cooperate better in the coming years”, Feteriadi said.
On this occasion, Khairudin, from PT BPI, representing the participants, gave his message and impression, “Throughout my participation in UPH since 2005, there are a lot of testimonials. But the most memorable is the kinship at UPH which makes us feel like we are family and living in our own home. The experience we gain throughout our years at UPH are also very valuable. Such as through the activities of Sevice Learning, our kids can have the opportunity to be trained by UPH students which we might not be able to get anywhere else “.
Doorprize handover to the outsource staff in UPH
The event became much more festive with door prize and mini games. The Door Prizes given were various and interesting such as iron, stove, mattress, and even mobile phone. While waiting for the participants in the games, each division also presented some performances such as bands and dance performances.
One of the participants who received a door prize, Christiana Susilowati, from PT. BPI shared her testimonial, “It was nice to achieve a doorprize from UPH. It could be a motivation for us to be more passionate in working. I hope this can become a regular event since it is very good and it can make us know each other better. During my two years of working here, I feel the togetherness. Although we are only outsourced but there is no difference. We are always involved in every event and we are very pleased to be helping UPH “.
At the end of the session, participants were given health education on the topic of “Sick and Healthy Concept” which is hosted by the Faculty of Nursing UPH (FoN). The participants were also able to receive a medical examination at the end of the event and were distributed groceries and lunch. (ca)
