STPPH Students? Practicum Raised CHINESE NEW YEAR Theme

In an effort to provide a new atmosphere in studying, Beverages Serving Operation practicum courses from Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Pelita Harapan (STPPH) was packaged with Chinese New Year theme

In an effort to provide a new atmosphere in studying, Beverages Serving Operation practicum courses fromSekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Pelita Harapan (STPPH) was packaged with Chinese New Year theme. Students and lecturers wore predefined uniform, whichwas a traditional Chinese clothing. This practicum was followed by students of 2013who were given the task to provide Serviceand students of 2014 who were in charge of Kitchen and Pastry. This is aimed to encourage students to be more enthusiastic and creative in practicing the lessons they have learned.

This practicum is a weekly practice as a training for the final exam later. At the end of this practice, some things that will be evaluated are the services given, workflow, teamwork, neatness, and speed. This is one effective way to provide a new color in learning. Artia, a student of Hospitality Management 2013, admitted that the themed-practice was much more difficult, but it gave a different enthusiasm than usual. Artia was also very pleased to be able to study at STPPH, because aside from the fact that STPPH gains an A accreditation, she also got a lot of experience and connections with many people who are experts in the field of tourism.
