UPH Family Day was held on August 7, 2015. All UPH family gathered to be reminded again with the vision and mission of UPH
This year?s theme is the continuation of previous year?s, which is ?Higher Calling? that motivates every UPH family member to find their highest calling in life, which is to declare God as priority through holistic education. The theme continues with this year?s theme which is ?Grow Deeper? to motivate every member of UPH family to root deeper, to grow, and to bear fruit, which is the graduates who bring positive change and impact to the nation. All the themes are directed to the vision of UPH: True Knowledge, Faith in Christ, and Godly Character.
?This academic year UPH will welcome 4000 new students which are expected to have true knowledge when they graduate from UPH, to get the chance to know Christ and have a faith in Christ, also to have a godly character that can be a good example everywhere,? Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, Rector of UPH explained. Dr. Niel Nielson, President of Lippo Education Initiative and Andy Lee, Lippo Executive delivered the next message, Dr. Nielson really appreciated the effort of UPH so far in blessing the education Indonesia. ?This all happens because the vision and mission that were inspired and given to Johannes Oentoro and James T. Riady, who realized it until it reached all Indonesia, with the total of 30.000 students from elementary school to university,? he said. Andy Lee, Lippo Executive, delivered last message. He motivated all the staff and lecturers to respond on their calling and hold on the vision that God has given, so that we can give influence and impact to many people.
