On October 2, 2015, at Jakarta Central Park, was held the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between Pelita Harapan University (UPH) and Project Management Institute Indonesia Chapter (PMIIC) of Organizing Profession Management Project Activity. PMIIC is a global non-profit professional organization founded by the Project Manager to take an active role in national development through professional project management and collaboration with educational institutions.
According to him, this science is very important, because this is one of the things CEO need in this world, namely ?ability to get things done? and project management have already proven to be able to complete any project, “With the resources that we have, we want to support UPH, please make use. We have a project management curriculum that has been proven internationally, we have a resource that is already certified, besides that we also have a network. We will improve the quality of graduates from UPH. In fact, we hope, UPH undergraduates can earn CAPM certification, which is a lower level PMP that has been recognized internationally, “said Aris.
Furthermore, Prof. Manlian A. Ronald Simanjuntak, Dean of FaST and Head Master of Civil Engineering UPH said, “We will seek UPH-PMIIC Cooperation to be further enhanced in the curriculum of MTS UPH by presenting the teaching of PMIIC, thereby increasing the level of competence and certification of graduates of MTS UPH.”
