1000 High School Students Attend Youth Entrepreneur Talkshow at UPH

Thursday, January 21, 2016 Business School UPH hold a Youth Entrepreneurship Talk Show for high school students grade 12 in the Grand Chapel which was attended by more than 1000 high school students from various schools in Tangerang, Banten

 
 
The atmosphere of the Youth Entrepreneurship Talkshow event which was attended by more than 1000 students from high school in Tangerang, Banten.
 

 

 

Thursday, January 21, 2016 Business School UPH hold a Youth Entrepreneurship Talk Show for high school students grade 12 in the Grand Chapel which was attended by more than 1000 high school students from various schools in Tangerang, Banten, among others, from SMAN 4, SMA 13, SMA archipelago, SMAN 66 , SMAK 2, Pembangunan Jaya High School, and UPH College.

 

Grace Salim, executive director of the Business School UPH delivers her speech to start this talk show. In her speech, she explained the purpose of this event which is motivated by the needs of the students   for clear information about majors in the university, as she shared her experience in choosing majors for college in her time. “I hope all the students here surrender their decision to choose majors to God that governs all our lives,” said Grace ending his speech.  

 

The event continued with the introduction of UPH in general by Student Consultant represented by Denny Oswaldo Yuwono. Discussion around existing courses and curriculum and registration process. Scholarship information is also presented along with the requirements and majors that are still available. To students who attended, also announced an online form available free of charge to the first 200 registrants by entering promo code up on January 24, 2016 at 00:00.

 

Related to the theme of Entrepreneurship exposure delivered by Zoel Hutabarat, S.IP, MBA lecturer at the Business School UPH moderated by Roy Robert Rondonuwu lecturer FISIP FMU. He also explained to the students on tips to become an entrepreneur and the steps that must be done starting from choosing the right subject. 

 

 

After the presentation session the students are invited to follow a campus tour and provided lunch at the Food Junction UPH while enjoying the atmosphere of the campus. The students are also invited to attend the next event in the form of Entrepreneuship Business Plan competition for the high school level UPH Business School to be held in May 2016. The competition requires participants in teams of three people and sending its Entrepreneurship Business Plan in May 2016 to be contested at the Business Week which is an annual event held UPH Business School students. In addition to this event, will be held the event to the Masters in March that an international conference for all teachers of Economics. That is why through this opportunity for all students and teachers are encouraged to attend the economy that will be held later. (Mt/mf)
