UPH Graduation XXX

The most common illness of people now day is back pain. Many kind of reason that people go to hospital for his/her back pain and according Dr. Yesaya Yunus, 80% people go to hospital for their back pain.

 Students Pledge after Graduates? Inauguration

 

 

During the XXX Graduation of UPH, a representative of the Kopertis 3, Head of Institutional and Information System, Budhi Hery Pancasilawan, S.H., M.H., deliver his appreciation towards UPH through his speech regarding how UPH has been an accredited university. This event took place in the Grand Chapel of UPH Karawaci, November 26, 2016.

?As the representative of Kopertis 3, we are optimistic that UPH is able to develop, synergized and is ready to face the development era, such as AEC (ASEAN Economic Community). UPH has contributed to the development of the nation and has been a healthy and government obedient university up until now. For the Kopertis, we don?t attend all graduation ceremony, we only attend those who are up to our standards of accredited universities, such as UPH,? said Budhi. 

 

For the Graduation, UPH Rector, Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc., said that UPH has always been committed to enhance its education quality and to encourage students in achieving the best result as well as to be impactful to the people around them. He also said that through this graduation, every graduate are delivered to a new different world within this changing era. Thus, each graduate has to be the agent of change who brings light and hope.

On the occasion, Prof. Adrianus Mooy, M.Sc., Ph.D, as the advisor of Yayasan Universitas Pelita Hararapan (UPH) also gave a message for the graduates. He said that Indonesia is in need for competent human resources. For that reason, the quality of human resources has to be increase too, and this is one of the main focuses of UPH, that is to provide an adequate and holistic education. Prof. Mooy also stated that graduates have to work their best and always be the light for those around them. 

 

 

 

As the representative of the best graduate, Dr. Jovita Irawati, who successfully graduated with 4 GPA and summa cum laude predicate, delivered the valedictorian speech. In her speech, Jovita stated her appreciation for UPH Doctor of Law Program who has provided the best education for her as well as in fulfilling the needs of executives, through competent lecturers, helpful academic services and a supportive academic environment at the campus.

 

Through her dissertation entitled “The Legislation Disharmony in Healthcare and its Law Implication towards Medical Practice and the Existence of the Honorary Council of Indonesian Medical Disciplinary (HCIMD)”, she hopes that her dissertation could contribute to the people and the practice of law in Indonesia. 

 

Until 2016, Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) has produced a total of 23.564 graduates, with 1.028 Diploma 3.830 Diploma 4, 17.528 Undergraduates (S1), 3.180 Graduates (S2) and 31 Post-Graduate (S3) and for Profession Program, 709 Doctors and 258 Ners. (rh)
