SISTech (School of Information Science and Technology) UPH continues to keep up with the latest information technology development, in cooperation with various technology-based companies. Developments within SISTech UPH continue to be socialized not only to students but also to high school students to get a direct insight into technology trends from SISTech industry partners through various events. One of them is SISTech Open Day ‘Learn from The Tech Giants’ which took place Wednesday, November 8, 2017.
SISTech Open Day presents Doni Nathaniel CEO of Office-Strategic Development from Tokopedia and Alex Albert Principal Software Development EngineerBlibli.com. Besides students, this event was attended by approximately 300 high school students from Jakarta and Tangerang.
According to Lie Nathanael Santoso, Executive Director of UPH Business Development, this event aims to equip students and students with insight into technological developments. Through this event also SISTech UPH want to introduce new interest that is technopreneurship and smart apps development.

This is a challenge, how people who have not utilized the technology yet are a great opportunity as a target for our consumers. Alex advised to achieve the dream then the willingness to learn is needed.
