Pharmacy.
The bachelor study program in pharmacy at UPH aims to educate bachelors in pharmacy who has excellent knowledge, skills, and attitude which will enable them to give high-quality pharmaceutical service to the public, focusing on clinical pharmacy and natural product pharmacy. With the given education and training, the bachelor graduate of pharmacy study program at UPH will become a competent dialog partner for doctors and patients in the rational use of medicines. This bachelor study program can be completed in 4 years with total load of 147 credits.

Graduate Profile.
A graduate who is:
- Able to provide pharmaceutical preparations according to patient needs, accompanied by quality assurance of pharmaceutical preparations through an attitude of empathy towards others as a form of obedience to God.
- Able to apply pharmaceutical science and technology in the design, manufacture, quality assurance and distribution of pharmaceutical preparations.
- Able to search, evaluate, prepare, provide information and think critically in identifying and resolving drug and treatment problems to optimize therapy.
- Able to apply communication skills in the context of health institutions and treatment/pharmaceutical preparation services.
- Able to apply management and leadership principles by being willing to face every challenge and prepare solutions that occur in the context of pharmaceutical institutions.
- Able to carry out work responsibly in accordance with statutory provisions, pharmaceutical norms and ethics.
- Demonstrate mastery of science and technology in the pharmaceutical field, research abilities, and the ability to develop oneself continuously.
- Able to develop business opportunities creatively and innovatively in the pharmaceutical sector.
Study
What Will I Study.
You will learn things related to pharmacy, such as:
- good pharmaceutical service according to pharmaceutical principles, ethics, and applicable laws
- principles of clinical and community pharmacy, which discuss the ways to give direct service to patients in order to optimize the medicinal use and enhance the awarenes and understanding about health and disease prevention
- principles of different kinds of pharmaceutical preparation technologies, including solid, semi-solid, liquid, and sterile
- knowledge about different kinds of natural products which have great pharmaceutical potential

- Clinical pharmacy services, such as hospitals, health centers, clinic, and pharmacies
