Hubungan Internasional UPH bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan dan keahlian praktis untuk bergerak di bidang perdagangan internasional, budaya, studi ASEAN, dan korporasi dan keamanan internasional. Our International Relations program is founded on Biblical perspectives within the framework of the Reformed theology, to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to navigate in international commerce, cultures, ASEAN studies and international safety and corporation. Here are the specializations that you can choose in our study program:

Dr. Edwin Martua Bangun Tambunan, S.IP., M.Si. is a lecturer of International Relations Study Program. He teaches Introduction to International Relations; International Relations Seminar; International Politics; Conflict Resolution courses.

He got his Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Gadjah Mada University in 1986 and then obtained his MA degree in Social Sciences from University of Indonesia in 1992. In i996 he got his Ph.D., degree from Department of Political Sciences, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) Belgium. He was Research Fellow at Asia Research Institute (ARI, National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2004 and at the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (currently Rajaratnam School of International Studies or RSIS), Singapore in 2005. He was also a visiting professor at Master Program in Cultures and Development Studies (CADES) Faculty of Social Sciences Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) and the University of Antwerp Belgium November 2007.
