Christine L. Sommers, Ph.D., RN, CNE CCRN Emeritus is the Executive Dean of Faculty of Nursing and Chief Academic Officer/Provost. She teaches Emergency and Critical Care, Spiritual Care in Healthcare, and Introduction to Nursing Profession courses. Her areas of interest include nursing education, critical care nursing, cultural diversity in nursing education, and learning environments. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, Master in Nursing from University of Washington in Seattle, Nurse Educator Certificate Program from Washington State University, and PhD in Nursing from University of Kansas in Kansas City. She is also a Certified Nurse Educator.

Grace Solely Houghty,

Dean of Faculty of Nursing

Grace Solely completed her bachelor degree in 2004 from Universitas Advent Indonesia, majoring in General Nursing Studies. She, afterwards, gained her Master of Business Administration (2005) from Philippine Christian University and Master of Nursing (2013) from Universitas Indonesia. She once worked at Siloam Hospital Group in 2006. She is one of the editors of Jurnal Skolastik Keperawatan, a journal for nursing studies. In 2018 she had a chance to be the translator in Siloam BIMC Kuta accreditation by Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International. She is also active in research and community service. She loves nursing education and has a dream to see Indonesian nurses be recognized by the global community. She believes that those who are called to be nurses should also have a heart that is willing to serve like Jesus Christ. She works together with her team at UPH Faculty of Nursing to produce nurses who are competent, strong in character, compassionate and committed.

Dr. Ni Gusti Ayu Eka Sulistiyaningtyas

DR. Ni Gusti Ayu Eka Sulistiyaningtyas is a lecturer of Nursing Study Program. She teaches Research and Statistics, Nursing Project 1 & 2, and Family Nursing courses. Her areas of interest include civility and incivility in nursing education, and blended learning. She earned her Nursing Diploma (1998) from AKPER PGI CIKINI in Jakarta, Bachelor in Public Health (2001) and Master in Health Management (2003) from Airlangga University Surabaya, and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Studies (2017) from University of Nottingham in UK.

His areas of interest include discipleship, personal evangelism, counseling, youth ministry, integration theology and psychology, research, social entrepreneurship, and storytelling. He earned his title of Sarjana Teologi, Magister Divinitas and Magister Teologi from Reformed Theological Seminary of Indonesia, and Engineering Degree from Fakultas Teknik Universitas Brawijaya in Malang. He also has licenses as Evangelism Explosion International Senior Clinic Teacher, Disciple-making Ministries International in HapDong Presbyterian Church, South Korea, Faculty of Haggai Institute, and The National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (Lemhannas).
