UPH Biotechnology(BiologyDepartment) equips students with strong theoretical and practical skills in the field. The course will prepare students to face challenges in the health, food, and environmental industries professionally and to develop new innovative products in various areas.
Biotechnology is a rapidly evolving field in the modern
life which incorporates technology into biology. It allows cutting edge ideas to be experimented hands-on in various organisms, cells and molecules such as proteins, DNA and RNA. Biotechnology allows the swift advancement in the medical, pharmaceutical, food and environmental industries. The prospect of Biotechnology in global related business is promising. The hope to tackle various global challenges in medical, industrial and environmental in the future will rely greatly in the advancement of biotechnology. In Indonesia, trained people and professionals in the field are needed. UPH Biotechnology (Biology Department) offers program that leads to the award of a Bachelor of Science degree upon course completion
