Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ministry of Trade, and National Police Deliver Message for New UPH Students
 UPH new students entering the 2021/2022 academic year were
welcomed by a message from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Dr. H. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, B.BA., M.BA., Vice Minister of Trade, Dr. Jerry Sambuaga, and Vice President of the STIK-PTIK Academic Division, Brigjen Pol. Dr. Asep Adisaputra, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., M.Si. during the Distinguished Guest Speaker (DGS) event on UPH Festival, 27 August 2021.
Sandiaga Uno delivered a message encouraging new students to cultivate creativity. Moreover, Sandiaga urges the audience to challenge themselvesandthinkcreatively, innovate, and collaborate with others, especially during this pandemic.

“In the midst of this pandemic, Indonesia reached a record-high trade balance in the past decade. The digital economy contributed significantly to this remarkable economic progress,” states Jerry.
Brigjen Pol. Asep Adisaputra talked about the cybercrime phenomenon caused by the rise of digital technology and the role of the Indonesian National Police to protect the security of Indonesia’s digital ecosystem through restorative Justice.
UPH Rector DR. (Hon.) Jonathan L. Parapak, M. Eng. Sc., expressed his appreciation for all the remarks given by the guest speakers and hoped that their speeches would encourage students to be enthusiastic about contributing to the country. Read more

 UPH Student Receives PKM- GT Incentive Grant from Kemenristekdikti
Students from UPH’s Biology and Industrial
Engineering Study Programs received an incentive grant from the ‘Student Creativity Program – Written Ideas’ (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa – Gagasan Tertulis (PKM- GT), which was organized by the Directorate General of Learning and the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti). UPH students, namely Jonathan Suciono Purnomo, Samuel Owen Mudana (Biology 2018), and Wira Yudidharma (Industrial Engineering 2018), proposed the application of an iron oxide microplastic filtration system in water treatment plants.
