All the Cast and Crews at the end of the Theatrical Musical Drama, ?Dunia Maia?

A musical theatrical drama entitled ?Dunia Maia? by the At Division of Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) went successfully at the theater of Taman Ismail Marzuki, Cikini, Central Jakarta, on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Lots of audiences had been queueing in front of the main gate since 5 PM. The performance went for two and a half hours and had successfully entertained the audience, both with the excellent quality from the performers as well as the touching essence of the story itself.

This musical drama was a form of campaign against the dangers of free sex, alcohol, and drugs. This drama told us a story about a struggle of a little girl named Maia, who was battling against anxiety, after her sister?s, Yuna, death. She has to fight for peace against many clans within her dreams, which was a representation of all of the feelings inside her heart.

?I am the past. Everything has gone past. I have to take a step forward. I fact, it?s really easy to die and it?s really frightening to live a life without a willing to live. Life will keep going and by the end, everything will come to go away,? was a part of a dialogue in the musical drama, last Saturday.

This time, ?Dunia Maia? musical drama involved 350 young people and 1200 audiences from various backgrounds and was also supported by professional performance artists.

?I was really happy to be able to be a cast of Dunia Maia. Indeed, the practices took a lot of my time, but I knew that, it was just a part of the process that we had to go through as a part of the cast. When it was time for the performance, I felt very happy and successful. Dunia Maia made me learn about how the process would never betray result,? Melissa, one of the casts in Dunia Maia stated (Aw).
