?Pendopo Multifungsi? will be used for many purposes such as public library, and other activities such as medical clinic, counseling, religious activities, even weddings.
Lippo Village (28/5) ? Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Universitas Pelita Harapan (LPPM-UPH) on Thursday (28/5) make held a ceremony to symbolize the handover of Teluk Naga?s activity center, Pendopo Multifungsi? which was built by UPH?s Faculty of Design and Planning (FDTP-UPH).
?Pendopo Multifungsi? will be used for many purposes such as public library, and other activities such as medical clinic, counseling, religious activities, even weddings. The recidences had already planned some religious activities to be held a day after the handover ceremony.
Teluk Naga Village Chief, Ahmad Sodiki, declared his appreciation to the hard work of FDTP-UPH and hoped that the activity center could be used according to the purpose. ?This place is open for any kind of activities as long as it?s useful for the community, particularly for activities which improve the residences? skills and knowledge,? Sodiki said.
The activity center was designed especially for Teluk Naga?s housewives to develop their skills and abilities in many areas. ?We hope that these housewives would later help earn money and help build their family?s economic condition,? said Sodiki.
UPH?s handover of this activity center was represented by the Director of LPPM-UPH, Harianto Hardjasaputra and Manager of LPPM-UPH, Maynerd Idris Tambunan, while Village Chief, Ahmad Sodiki represented Teluk Naga. ?UPH hopes that the residences will appreciate and take good care of this building that it can be used comfortably and help the quality of the residences,? said Hariyanto.
The construction of ?Pendopo Multifungsi? by FDTP-UPH is a part of LPPM ?UPH?s program agenda of developing Teluk Naga village in Tangerang. The development program involves all faculties of UPH to mobilize their students and staffs in order to participate in every way for the development of the village and the improvement of the residences? quality.
