UPH is usually very quiet on Sundays because there are no classes going on, but on 25 July 2010, UPH was visited by medical students from 17 Asian countries. The program started with registration of AMSA members in the morning, and continued with an Ice Breaking activity at UPH Building B and its surroundings.

Six types of games and some posts were purposely arranged in order to do the team building activities. These students had to make four teams, with each team consisted of 10-12 people. Various languages were heard during the program because the student participants were from 17 different countries.

At first, the event was scheduled to begin at 2.30 pm, however, it didn?t start until 3pm, which consequently delayed the Welcoming Party to finally start at 6 pm.

The games that were played were such as Ball & Chopstick, The Blind Man, Pyramid of Glasses, Loose Me + Drink Party, Puzzle Sprinter, and Magic Wand.

Separately, the four teams got together with their 10-12 members. Two GMs (Group Moderator) accompanied them through this Ice Breaking session.

After the whole six games were played, these students could rest for a while, take a shower and meet again in the Welcoming Party, followed by a dinner held at Food Junction (FJ) and Basketball Court ? UPH. After dinner at the Food Junction (FJ), participants were presented with a series of traditional dance and music performances.

The program didn?t end there. In the late evening, after going back to Mercure hotel, they had to continue with intra-countries meeting. (oas)
