International Relations Trivia Championship 2012.

Trivia championship is one of the IRF program aimed at high school students. The Program was held on the fourth day of the IRF, October 25th, 2012, followed by eight teams from four high schools, i.e., SMAK 1 Gading Serpong, PSKD, UPH College and Atisa Dipamkara. This competition is meant to introduce the Department of International Relations and the scope of work related to the major.

For the high school students this competition is beneficial to add insight and general knowledge within the scope of such an international policy, international leaders, international institutions and so forth. “With the experience, students are expected to know the Department of international relations and interested in this major,” said Cheryl Benigno, organizing Committee IRF Trivia Championship 2012.

The result of the competition was as follows: SMAK 1 Gading Serpong takes the 1st place, SMA Atisa Dipamkara at the 2nd spot, and, again, another team from SMAK 1 Gading Serpong fills the last spot on the podium. Participants generally improved knowledge and insights through this competition. “Last year, I had joined the trivia in this IRF event, but this year?s competition is more difficult and more challenging. Though there are fewer participants than last year?s, but they’re pretty tough, “said Muhammad Pandu, one of the 2^nd winner team of Atisa Dipamkara. (tna)
