Dennis Oswald explained Augmented Reality technology
AR or Augmented Reality is a technology that joins 2 dimensional or even 3 dimensional virtual objects in to a real environment of 3 dimensional, then projecting these virtual objects in to real time. This technology can result in 3D form of a picture, or google glass that presents information directly for us. ?In one side, AR is not something new and also is not something that to be frightened of. Actually, we are living in digital era and right now there is a new additional dimension which is called AR. Thus, this technology can help human lives in the next time,? said Yulius. By presenting this seminar, he hopes that the seminar will give additional knowledge among students from different majors who have attended the seminar, that in the future AR can be well used in all areas.
In fact, the sophistication of AR technology makes the industry more creative. By just mentioning media industry such as Kompas that uses AR technology which gives attractive 3D information presentation. This can be the uniqueness that compares Kompas from other newspaper. Dennis hopes for those who attended his seminar will be going home by bringing something new and special for UPH community, he hopes that technology is something to be aware of and used in life more better.
