UPH Festvail 21: Welcoming By Faculty

On the second day of UPH Festival 21 (21/08), the whole 2014 batch was welcomed by 12 Faculties at UPH in the session of ?Welcoming by Faculty?. The new students were guided to their own faculties and was welcomed warmly by the senior, lecturers, and staff from the faculty.

In this session, they were introduced to the dean, the head of each major, and also lecturers that will teach them throughout the years. Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan (HMJ) and Senat Mahasiswa Fakultas (SMF) also welcomed the new students and motivate them to participate in every activities the organization had made, even they might also join the new structural organization in the future.

The Business School’s scholarship receivers

Besides that, spesifically in Business School, the welcoming proceed uniquely where as the scholarship students were invited to be introduced toward the other students. There are 24 students from Accounting and 35 students from Management.   Director of Business School Administration, Grace Salim had encourage the 2014 batch in the session. ?This is the time you know your vision on what you will become in the future, and how you can achieve your target. With the right mind by studying dilligently, and also achieving highest GPA you could do are the basic steps to achieve your dreams,?said Grace.

Then after the welcoming session was finished, the students were gathered at Grand Chapel to attend the Anti Narcotics and Sex Education socialization by dr. Debbie Latupeirissa, Sp. A (K), and dr. Stephanie pangau, MPH, as the representative of Prolife Indonesia. This socialization was made to remind the 2014 batch of UPH to understand the danger and effect of promiscuity lifestyle that had been popular in nowadays generations. (ca)
