At September 26, 2014, UPH Career Center together with Standard Chartered had an On Campus Recruitment (OCR) program that was held in Multipurpose Room, MYC, UPH. 37 people, including UPH senior students and alumni attended the event that was held from 9am until 3pm.
The OCR program invited Standard Chartered to present their company profile, personal branding, and continued by presenting Online Assessment. There was a specific program that they offer, International Graduates (IG) and its open for the trainee to have a chance to go to Shanghai for five weeks. There are five parts of this IG program, which are Transaction Banking, Financial Markets, Corporate & Institutional Clients and Corporate Finance, Commercial Clients, and Wealth Management.
At the first session, Pandu Sunu, Talent Acquisition Specialist ? Graduates, Human Resources, explained how important Personal branding is to support someone?s career. To understand what Personal Branding is, one must know about his strength; at this session the audiences were given some simulation to find out about their strength.
Furthermore, Pandu explained how important it is to practice our skill in the interview process. ?Today, GPA is no more the main focus, but attitude is. So with the interview process we can see the attitude and the personality of someone.? He said.
The enthusiasm of the audiences left a positive impression for Standard Chartered, Pandu stated, ?This is our second day for the OCR program and so far I am really proud and happy with the audience of UPH. They are so enthusiastic, especially when they have to share about their strengths. This is so rare, most of them would be shy to share about their strength in public, but I am proud of the audience of UPH, they are so active and brave.? |
