Design Product Major in UPH held yearly exhibition of students? creation in UPH Gallery (located on Building B). The Exhibition goes on 22nd September- 10th October 2014. Theme of students? creation exhibition this year is ?Heartbeat: Design for Life?. The theme delivered that design is also a heartbeat from every people. Like human who live with a heartbeat inside them, we need design in every aspect of live.
Heartbeat theme was visualized with form of a heart. By this visualization, committee wanted to deliver that every creations, which was displayed on the exhibition, were made with love, heart, and hope so the creations can be blessed for every user.
The exhibition shows products that were made by Design Product Major Student?s batch 2012-2013 from the first term to the final term which is their journey during study time to become a product designer.
There are 60 products displayed on the exhibition and actually the result from some subjects in class like Nirmana, Workshop Modeling, Craft, Jewelry Design, Fashion Product Life Style, and Furniture Design. Some of them are the result of mass produced approach like speaker and some are the result of handmade design like jewelry and sewing product. (ca/ag)
