Communication Avenue 2015: Radio Announcing Competition (RAC) ?Limitless Creation?

As many as 151 Karangturi students visited Universitas Pelita Harapan, Monday (22/03).

On April 26, 2015 a radio broadcasting competition was held as a part of the Communication Avenue (Comvee) 2015. With the theme of ?Limitless Creation?.

On April 26, 2015 a radio broadcasting competition was held as a part of the Communication Avenue (Comvee) 2015. With the theme of ?Limitless Creation?, this competition was held to enhance student?s creativity in creating something without limit and also to enhance solidarity between campuses. The topics for the participants were daily-basis problems such as law, politics, education, music, health and technology, which were drawn randomly.

 

Each participant was given 15 minutes to create and broadcast corresponding news, as creative as possible. This competition was participated by 13 teams, which 4 teams were from UPH, 1 team from Universitas Multimedia Nasional (UMN), 3 teams from Bina Nusantara (BINUS), 2 teams from Universitas Taruma Negara (UNTAR) and 3 teams from Mercu Buana. Each team is consisted of 3 people.

The committee took a professional announcer from a leading radio in Indonesia, as panelists of this competition. They are Kresna Julio, Prambors FM?s announcer and Cia Wardhana, Trax FM?s announcer. One of the panelists was the benefactor of Comvee 2015. He is Irvan from Bhinneka Padang Restaurant.

 

 

The marking criteria for this competition were grammar, voice color, technical ability to operate songs and timing accuracy. The winner of this competition would be announced on the last day of Comvee, May 29, 2015. (fc)

?After the competition we felt really relived, because at first, we were really anxious about this. Our hope is that UPH will keep organizing this kind of event to enhance creativity and also friendship between campuses.?
