Tourism College Pelita Harapan (STPPH) were present at SMAK Penabur Bintaro Jaya to provide cooking workshops to students of class 10. Class event was attended by approximately 60 students. Cooking Class Workshop was presented by seven students from majors of hospitality STPPH, namely Frederik Shaw (2014), Steven Halim (2014), Vriandi Hapsara (2015), Meidiva (2015), Charlie Santo (2012), Kevin Andreas (2012) and Marcel (2012). Most of the students of STTPH is a member of the cooking club UPH called gastronomy.
Some materials are practiced among others are Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse, a variety of salad dressings like Caesar Dressing, French Dressing, and Jakarta dressings. This workshop aims to encourage the students to know how the sensation of cooking in the kitchen following cooking process and not just an advanced food lovers.
Through these activities UPH hope school goals can be achieved and students can know better the department or faculty at UPH.
Today’s event to get a good response, as testimony given by students from SMAK Bintaro Jaya, Kyle pietra XMIPA1 ?The event is good and it teaches us new things about cooking, the teaching team has also been good.”
Besides Kyle Pietra testimony was also given by Wiva Ellyvia X Mathematics and Natural Sciences 2, “Events Cooking Class is very exciting, the food is also delicious. The seniors who train us is also good and friendly, and the workshop is also cool and isn?t rigid. I hope that there will be more events like this. ” (Mt/mf)
