Pharmacy.
The bachelor study program in pharmacy at UPH aims to educate bachelors in pharmacy who has excellent knowledge, skills, and attitude which will enable them to give high-quality pharmaceutical service to the public, focusing on clinical pharmacy and natural product pharmacy. With the given education and training, the bachelor graduate of pharmacy study program at UPH will become a competent dialog partner for doctors and patients in the rational use of medicines. This bachelor study program can be completed in 4 years with total load of 146 credits.

Graduate Profile.
A graduate who is:
- Able to dispense pharmaceutical materials according to the patient’s need with good quality assurance.
- Able to identify and solve problems related to medicines according to scientific principles to optimize the therapy.
- Able to collect data, analyze data, and create case or research reports under personal or group responsibility according to ethics and applicable legal aspect.
- Able to do good drug management.
- Able to give counseling or explanation about health-related problems especially those which are related to the use of medicines.
- Able to run pharmaceutical business.
Study
What Will I Study.
You will learn things related to pharmacy, such as:
- good pharmaceutical service according to pharmaceutical principles, ethics, and applicable laws
- principles of clinical and community pharmacy, which discuss the ways to give direct service to patients in order to optimize the medicinal use and enhance the awarenes and understanding about health and disease prevention
- principles of different kinds of pharmaceutical preparation technologies, including solid, semi-solid, liquid, and sterile
- knowledge about different kinds of natural products which have great pharmaceutical potencials

- Cinical pharmaceutical service, including in hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies
- Production of pharmaceutical products, including industries that produce drug materials, medicines and traditional medicines, cosmetics, food and drink
- Distribution of pharmaceutical products, including industries that produce medicines and traditional medicines, big suppliers/distributors of pharmaceutical products, distributors of medical and health-related devices, and laboratories
- Quality assurance and development pharmaceutical products in industries that produce medicines, traditional medicines, and cosmetics, as well as quality assurance in food and drink industries

apt. Dela Rosa, M.M., M.Sc. is the Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences and the Head of Pharmacy (S1) Study Program. She teaches Farmakognosi, Farmasetika Dasar, Farmasetika I, Sediaan Herbal dan Tradisional, and Karya Tulis Ilmiah courses. Her areas of interest include natural ingredient pharmacy, pharmacognosy, and phytochemicals. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy with Pharmacist Profession from Universitas Padjajaran, Master’s Degree in Management from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, and Master’s Degree of Science in Natural Ingredient Pharmacy from Universiteit Leiden.

His areas of interest industrial chemical process, environment chemical, Christian faith integration, and philosophy, curriculum, and education technology. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Indonesia, Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universitas Indonesia, and Master of Art in Christian Ministry from Sekolah Tinggi Teologia Reformed Indonesia. He is also a Certified Christian Leader (Hagai Institute, Maui, Hawaii, USA).
