The Pharmacy Program at Universitas Pelita Harapan is committed to developing graduates who excel in pharmaceutical sciences, demonstrate integrity, and embody Christian values. In alignment with UPH’s vision of True Knowledge, Faith in Christ, and Godly Character, the program equips students with strong scientific knowledge, a firm Christian faith, and a commitment to serving others through the pharmacy profession.
Guided by its academic focus on Natural Product Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy through a Smart Pharmacy approach, the program integrates Indonesia’s rich natural resources with digital technologies to support the development of innovative healthcare products and patient-centered pharmaceutical care. Students are prepared to navigate the transformation of healthcare systems through competencies in pharmaceutical sciences, data analytics, and emerging healthcare technologies.
The curriculum emphasizes two areas of excellence: Natural Product Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy. Learning experiences combine research-based education, modern laboratory training, and experiential learning in hospitals, pharmaceutical industries, communities, and other healthcare settings. Through the Smart Pharmacy approach, students are introduced to digital health, health information technology, and innovative pharmaceutical care practices that enhance the effectiveness, safety, and quality of medication use.

The program also provides a strong foundation for further study in the Pharmacist Professional Program and other advanced degrees in pharmaceutical and health sciences.
