UPH FH Moot Court Team Represents Asia in the Final Round of the 11th FDI Moot Court Competition-Sweden.

University of Pelita Harapan (UPH) Faculty of Law (FH) Moot Court Team will represent Indonesia to the final round of ‘The 11th Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) International Arbitration Moot Court Competition’ on the upcoming 8-11 November 2018 at Stockholm University, Sweden. Previously, the UPH FH Moot Court team won ‘The 2nd Highest Ranked Team’ in the Asia-Pacific regional round on FDI Moot Court Competition on August 21-24, 2018, at Seoul National University, South Korea. UPH FH was in the second place, after National University of Singapore (NUS) and outperformed Multimedia University from Malaysia in third place.

Not only became the Second Highest Rank, UPH team also won other achievements that deserve an appreciation, such as 1st Best Respondent Skeleton Brief (Best Respondent Manuscript); 1st Best Oralist – Felicia Himawan (Best Speaker); 3rd Best Oralist – Sharon Yang Cahyadi (Third Best Speaker); 3rd Best Oral Team in Preliminary Rounds; Top 8 Oral Team (Eighth Best Speaker Team).

UPH Moot Court Team consists of Sharon Yang Cahyadi (2016), Safira Juwana (2016), Laras Kusumo (2016) and Felicia Himawan (2017). They were competing on FDI Moot Regional Rounds which was attended by 20 universities from 9 countries in Asia. The participants came from the leading universities in Asia such as the National University of Singapore (NUS), University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, Seoul National University and other universities.

With this achievement, UPH Moot Court Team succeeded in becoming an Indonesia’s representative team in the International Rounds and will compete with the other 55 teams from various universities, such as Harvard University, King’s College London, and one other Indonesian university, Gadjah Mada University.
