UPH Online Teaching and Learning GO LIVE soon.

The worldwide spread of the Covid-19 virus is causing disruptions to educational institutions and communities around the world. At UPH, we do not face this issue with the fear because we know that our world belongs to God and our mission is to participate redemptively in the development of individuals and society for the glory of God. Rather, we face this challenge with the determination and creativity necessary to complete our tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

UPH has been moving steadily toward a greater use of online methods of teaching and learning so that we are more prepared to make necessary changes during a time of concern and uncertainty.

Therefore, on Monday 16 March 2020, we are going to begin a week of testing and preparation for a move to online learning by 23 March 2020. We have already been preparing for this change, and we will phase in various faculties and activities to ensure a smooth transition.

Effective Monday 23 March, all UPH classes in all faculties will begin to be offered online until Sunday 12 April 2020. Clinical practice, scheduled special events, labs, and private lessons may still continue on campus. All employees will continue to work on campus.

A decision regarding whether this plan will be extended beyond 12 April, very much depending on the situation over the coming weeks.
