Ayo Vote is a non-profit organization that aims to spread the basic understanding of politics for the young generation. Thus, Ayo Vote organized an event, named Dia.lo.gue, with the theme ?Mau Dibawa Kemana Indonesia 2014?. Ayo Vote becomes the pathway for teenagers to get close with the president candidates. This movement initiated by inviting Indonesia young teenagers to participate in the general legislative and presidential election which will take place this year.
According to Vika Kurnia, one of the event committee, Dia.lo.gue is inspired from a program in a program and Vika further added that currently Indonesia has many voters that are still in relatively young age; their votes hold considerable potential. Therefore, their participation in this year general election has become an important factor. Considering this situation, Ayo Vote facilitates the young generation so that they can ask and discuss directly with the president candidates so that their choices are based on a well perception and understanding toward the president. Moreover, their choices are also going to determine the future of Indonesia itself.
Dia.lo.gue at UPH began with a monologue with the title ?Andai aku jadi presiden? by Margareth, a student from SMA Santa Ursula. The inspirational monologue had brought the participants to the main topic on that day which was discussed by the three president candidates from the Demokrat party: Dino Pati Djalal, Anies Baswedan and Gita Wirjawan.

Through Ayo Vote event on January 15, 2014, UPH does not only encourage students to passively learn more knowledge but also proactively invite them to be more aware with the political situation in Indonesia. Not only receiving the end result, but also taking action to help the leaders? effort for transforming Indonesia to be a better country. (rh)
