Carielle Joy Rio, PhD, RN merupakan Dosen Program Studi Keperawatan. Dia mengajar mata kuliah Medical Surgical Nursing I, II, and III, Nursing Theory and Practice, Research and Statistics, dan Spiritual Care in Health Care. Bidang minatnya meliputi etnografi, keperawatan transkultural, dan kesehatan orang dewasa. Ia memperoleh gelar Bachelor of Science in Nursing dan Master of Arts in Nursing (majoring in Medical-Surgical Nursing) dari Central Philippine University, dan Doctor of Philosophy (Nursing) dari Silliman University. Ia juga seorang Perawat Terdaftar di Filipina.

Pencapaian:

• Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (June 2007) – 9th highest score nationwide
• Recipient of grant from the United Board of Christian Higher Education in Asia for participation to the International Students Conference on Global Ethics 2005
• Recipient of grant from the Sigma Theta Tau, Delta Theta Giving Chapter for participation to Sigma Theta Tau International?s 29th International Nursing Research Congress
