The Cooperation Between FK UPH and RSPAD

Friday, January 14, 2011, a signing ceremony was done to mark the cooperation of UPH Faculty of Medicine and the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto Ditkesad, in the Rectorate meeting room of UPH Campus, Karawci  – Tangerang. The MoU signing in the field of education was done by the Director of Army Health Directorate ? Brigadir Jendral TNI, dr. Chairunan Hasbullah, MARS and Rector of UPH, Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, M. Eng. Sc. Afterwards, the MoU signing in the field of clinical field training (Kepaniteraan Klinik) was done by the Head of RSPAD Gatot Soebroto Ditkesad, Brigadir Jendral TNI, dr. Dedy Achdiat Dasuki, Sp.M and the Dean of UPH Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Eka J. Wahjoepramono, Sp.Bs.

The cooperation is a continuation of the previous one which has been going well. With this cooperation, students who have completed the medical doctor (Sarjana Kedokteran) and still in the process of pursuing UPH Medical Profession degree, Could follow the clinical field training at RSPAD.

The Director of Army Health Directorate, stated his hope that this cooperation Could be done continously and open opportunities to have cooperations in other areas, among others is pharmacy.

In reference to pharmacy, UPH Rector said that UPH has been trying to open that study program. At the moment, Siloam Hospitals, UPH Faculty of Medicine?s Partners, are also in the big need of pharmacy and nursing. Because of that, UPH has been trying to fullfil those needs, and now we have a nursing program.

?We hope that alumni who have been trained at RSPAD will be more qualified and reddy to serve the community. Right now the graduates of UPH Faculty of Medicine almost 100% passed a competence test,? said the Rector.
