The 4th KSASA International Conference on the second day that took place in UPH, received a positive response from the participants. “This is the biggest honor for UPH to be chosen in cooperating with the University of Indonesia who can be partners in organizing this conference.” said Jonathan L. Parapak. UPH Rector, Jonathan L. Parapak at the press conference mentioned some important points from some research conducted by the researchers from UPH. Among them are about intellectual property rights, social, cultural, and political. “South Korea is one of the world’s developing countries that have demonstrated their existence in the world economy.” Said Prof. Aleksius Jemadu, Ph.D. Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UPH, at the second day of conference’s, January 20, 2011. According to him, “KSASA is giving a chance to universities in Indonesia for building access in Southeast Asia that is currently the world’s attention because of rapid economic growth. Through some research, it carried out that the college can provide accurate information as an input to the government to make policy in exploiting the opportunities that exist in this region. Korea is one of the developing countries in the region that could help in that direction. “ The relationship that established between Indonesia and Korea has the continuity that promise in 2015 in which Southeast Asia will be the Single Economic Base. ” Indonesia and South Korea can establish a multinational economic and collaboration for our welfare, it is unfortunate if Indonesia miss it.” Said Prof. Aleksius.
