How do you know more about yourself?

To help the soon-to-be graduated students, Department of Career Development and Alumni Center (CDAC) in UPH collaborated with PT. Boehringer Ingelheim Indonesia organized a seminar themed ?Understanding Yourself and Identifying Assets for Career Planning? on March 17, 2011.

To know yourself, according to Mira, Staffing and Development PT. Boehringer Ingelheim Indonesia, we can use the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator) which is classified into 4 dichotomies, such as: Extraversion-Introversion, Sensing-Intuition, Thinking-Feeling, Judging-Perceiving. So in the final analysis, we will get the type of personality that relates to careers or types of work that suitable for us in the future.

?But, the MBTI is not everything, the most important thing is to believe in yourself, listen to your heart, try more, and discover new things. It is the key of success, because success is in our own hands” said Mira.

This seminar which was held in 3 hours and followed by 49 UPH students was casual as it featured more discussions and combined with giving away gifts to participants who asked questions or shared experiences. This seminar was ended by Mira?s invitation to the UPH students to do internship in PT. Boehringer Ingelheim Indonesia.
