More than 1500 new student entered new academic year 2011 ? 2012 at the University of Pelita Harapan, Karawaci on Wednesday, 3 August 2011. At the first day of orientation, students were introduced to the UPH community in the Grand Chapel on the first day of UPH Festival 18. Their activities on the first day of orientation include campus introduction and explanation about various programs. Students were mainly interested in the part where scholarships and student exchange programs were explained. New students were also introduced to the MPM (Student Representative Council) and BEM (Student Executive Body). After lunch break, new students were asked to do a ?Knowing Yourself? test and join mentoring program. Then, the students were taken to see the campus environment in the Campus Tour program. During the UPH Festival 18 and the first year at campus, the new students will be guided by the mentors, who are also UPH students, in order to help the new students getting through the first year.
