UPH Festival 18: Alumni Homecoming

Alumni Homecoming is one of the highlighted events in UPH Festival 18 that held on Saturday, August 6, 2011. The event was attended by alumni from batch 1994-2007. In this event, the alumni will be officially registered in the alumni committee.

Located at the MYC Multipurpose Room, the event was started with a seminar entitled “Menjadi Cerdas Finansial Melalui Perencanaan Keuangan ? Financially Smart with Financial Planning” by S. Budisuharto, Founder and Former Chairman of FPAI (Financial Planner Association of Indonesia). Through this seminar, the speaker explained to approximately 80 participants about managing their finance. “If we are financially smart, we will definitely be more prepared than others when facing financial problems,”  said Budi.

The event continued with the official signing of alumni committee, represented by the Rector of the UPH, Dr. (HON) Jonathan L. Parapak, some representative from Dean dan Head of the department, and alumni coming from various majors. UPH Rector expressed his appreciation to any input from alumni and he hopes that the committee will develop.

“Alumni committee will not be established without a sense of belonging and love our almamater,” said Rendy, UPH alumni from Faculty of Law batch 2000. The alumni saw the development from each department and hoped that they can use the facilities at UPH.

Alumni Homecoming was also enlivened by the football game between alumni conducted at Universitas Pelita Harapan?s football field. (vgr)
