| For the third time, UPH held business forum seminar. This time, the seminar was entitled ?How to Find Success in Product Launching.? Eka Anwar, Marketing Communication Director of Samsung Indonesia was the speaker for the topic. This seminar was held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at UPH Graduate Campus, Plaza Semanggi, Jakarta.
The seminar started at 5 p.m. was opened with clinic session with speaker and author Alex Mulya. In this session, Alex explained about new product development and the importance of analyzing a product before it is launched and how to launch it. Approximately 58 participants was encouraged to analyze the consumer?s need. This is used to develop idea for the next product. ?One of the successful ways is to compete with our closest competitor,? said Alex. |

After dinner session, the event was continued with session from speaker Eka Anwar who shared his experience with approximately 105 participants when he launched Samsung Galaxy Tab 1.0 and 2.0. The launching of these products was done not long after iPad 1 and 2 was launched. ?My challenge was to launch Samsung Galaxy Tab when everyone only knows iPad,? Eka told. |

The business forum seminars was started last June with ?Breaking the Sales Barrier? and Challenging the Big Brands.? The business forum program was part of UPH?s corporate social responsibilities to improve the public competitiveness and competence in business. In this program, various seminars are held monthly.
